Does Tiiks keep your data only on the phone?
No. Tiiks is account-backed so the bike, the parts, and the Strava-linked mileage can follow you on iOS and Android. That is a different contract than a local-plus-iCloud ledger. We keep that record so a replaced chain still has a history, not so a workout list can vanish when you stay inside one Apple ID.
Can BikeLog Pro tell you when to service a chain?
It can alert you when a component you configured is near the lifespan you typed. That is a threshold on a ledger, not a service-versus-replace decision on a named part with catalog context and rider mileage next to it.
