It records rides, registers the warranty, holds your bike's reference data, and reminds you when the service log says it's time to see a dealer. Tiiks is a part-wear tracker that works on any bike. They're aimed at two different jobs.

The short version

What the Cannondale App covers

Ride recording comes from the phone GPS or from the Wheel Sensor. Cannondale's site says the app saves the route, distance, elevation, and average speed, and can start and stop on its own. The Wheel Sensor ships in the box on many Cannondales from the 2019 model year. It stores speed and distance on the sensor itself, without a map, for up to 900 hours. You sync it to the phone after the ride. The ride screen also connects heart rate monitors, power meters, cadence sensors, Bosch e-bikes, and Garmin Varia over Bluetooth.

Add the bike and the App Store listing says the warranty activates automatically. For 2019 bikes and newer, the app holds the owner's manual, geometry charts, bike fit data, the factory parts list, and suspension setup. The service reminder is built from the distance and hours already in the activity log. When those numbers reach a threshold, it tells you to contact your dealer. It reads the log, not the part. It doesn't know how worn the chain is.

What Tiiks covers

Tiiks doesn't record rides, pair a Wheel Sensor, or register the warranty. When a Strava ride syncs, the distance lands on the chain, cassette, and tires that were fitted, under their catalog names, with rider reviews on each part. Fit a new part and it starts from zero. Any bike, not just a Cannondale, gets the same treatment.

Can you use both?

Yes. The Cannondale App captures what the sensor recorded and keeps the warranty and the dealer reminder. Tiiks watches the chain and cassette that rode those kilometres. Connect Strava in both and the same ride sits in the activity log in one app and on the parts in the other.

Does the Cannondale App import rides from Strava?

Yes. New rides sync after you connect, and you can assign each one to a bike in your garage. The chain, tire, and cassette mileage is a manual note you keep separately.
