The Specialized App is Specialized's owner companion for Turbo e-bikes. It registers the warranty, keeps firmware current, gives the shop a remote view of the motor and battery, and lets you tune power delivery from the phone. Tiiks names the chain, cassette, and tyres from the catalog and counts Strava kilometres on them. The screen that tunes the motor does not name the chain, and that is where the split is.

The short version

If the bike is a Turbo: keep the Specialized App for motor tuning, Auto-Lock, battery health, remote shop access, and lifetime warranty. No maintenance tracker replaces that.

What the Specialized App covers

Remote diagnosis lets the shop read error logs without the bike on a stand. Smart Control sets a target for how much battery should remain after a long ride. Service reminders keep the e-system on schedule. Deeper ride stats are a paid tier.

What Tiiks covers

Tiiks does not push firmware, tune a motor, lock the bike, or register a warranty. It names the chain, cassette, tyres, and pads from the catalog and adds Strava distance to whichever of them is mounted, with the reviews riders left on that model. That naming holds on a Turbo as well as any other bike.

Can you use both?

Yes. The Specialized App covers the Turbo's motor and the warranty. Tiiks covers the chain and cassette that ran those kilometres. Connect Strava in both and the same ride lands in the App's odometer and on Tiiks's parts.

Does the Specialized App track chain or cassette mileage?

No. It records rides and runs the Turbo. Chain and cassette are not tracked as named parts.
